Process Flow
Untreated waste gas passes through a pre-stage water seal tank to remove moisture and particulates, then is pressurized by a waste gas fan and directed through a flame arrester into the ceramic heat storage layer. The gas is preheated to approximately 350°C before entering the catalytic layer where organic components undergo complete oxidation. An electric heating device ensures the catalytic bed outlet temperature reaches 400°C for thorough pollutant destruction. The treated flue gas then transfers heat to another set of regenerative chambers before being discharged through the chimney, meeting all emission standards.
Operating Principle
The Regenerative Catalytic Oxidizer (RCO) utilizes two insulated chambers filled with high-temperature ceramic media. Process streams enter an energy recovery chamber where ceramic media preheats the gas before oxidation. After catalytic oxidation converts pollutants to CO₂ and water vapor, the clean gas exits through the second recovery bed, transferring heat to the ceramic media for the next cycle. This combination of catalyst and ceramic media significantly reduces fuel consumption and operating costs.
