Process Flow
Untreated waste gas first passes through a pre-stage water seal tank with demisting section to remove moisture and particulate matter. After pressurization by the waste gas fan and passage through a flame arrester, the gas enters the ceramic heat storage layer where it's preheated to approximately 350°C. The preheated gas then enters the catalytic layer where organic components undergo complete oxidation and decomposition. An electric heating device ensures the outlet temperature reaches 400°C, guaranteeing thorough destruction of organic pollutants. The resulting flue gas is distributed through regenerative chambers for heat recovery before being discharged through a chimney, meeting emission standards.
Technology Principle
The Regenerative Catalytic Oxidizer (RCO) utilizes two insulated chambers filled with high-temperature ceramic media. During operation, the process stream enters an energy recovery chamber where ceramic media preheats it before introduction to the oxidation chamber. After oxidation through the catalyst, pollutants convert to CO₂ and water vapor, releasing thermal energy. The clean gas exits through the second recovery bed, leaving heat in the ceramic media to preheat the inlet stream in the next cycle. This combination of catalyst and ceramic media significantly reduces fuel consumption and operating costs.
