This waste gas incinerator serves as a critical environmental protection facility for 300,000 t/y propylene oxide production, processing 9,418-13,316 kg/h of industrial exhaust gases. Pressurized waste gas undergoes high-temperature oxidation at 900-1,100°C with sufficient residence time for complete combustion.
The system incorporates selective non-catalytic reduction (SNCR) technology with ammonia injection for NOx control. Heat recovery via waste heat boiler generates 9-12 t/h of saturated steam at 2.5 MPaG. The complete unit occupies approximately 40m × 25m.
Direct Thermal Oxidizers (DTO) heat the combustion chamber to set temperatures using fuel, then introduce VOCs which decompose into CO₂ and water at high temperatures. External equipment such as heat exchangers and boilers recover thermal energy from purified flue gas for energy savings.
