This 150,000 ton/year CHP propylene oxide project utilizes an integrated high-temperature oxidation process with waste heat cascade utilization for complex, high-concentration petrochemical waste streams. The system achieves thorough organic decomposition at 1200°C while recovering heat through membrane wall boilers to produce industrial-grade superheated steam.

Operating Principle
The Direct Thermal Oxidizer (DTO) initially heats the combustion chamber to the required temperature using fuel. Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) are then introduced and decompose into CO₂ and water vapor at high temperatures, releasing substantial thermal energy. External equipment including heat exchangers and boilers recover this thermal energy from the purified high-temperature flue gas, achieving significant energy savings and consumption reduction.
Our engineering team provides customized, cost-effective VOCs treatment solutions based on airflow volume, composition, concentration, and required removal efficiency. When waste gas concentration is sufficiently high, the system can operate without additional fuel input, maintaining furnace temperature through self-sustaining combustion at moderate Lower Explosive Limits.
