The rotary kiln serves as the core calcining equipment in industrial production, widely utilized across cement, lime, metallurgy, and chemical industries. Its high-temperature and slow-rotation design ensures complete material reaction and enhances finished product quality. Constructed with high-temperature resistant materials and advanced combustion technology, it delivers energy savings, reduced consumption, and supports continuous large-scale production requirements.
This hazardous waste incineration unit is an integral component of the Nanjing integrated production base of Celanese, a Fortune 500 American-owned company. The system is engineered to incinerate various chemical waste streams from the factory, including domestic garbage, hazardous solid waste from eight upstream units, sludge, waste liquid, waste gas, and other categories—totaling nine waste types. Upon operation, the facility supports the factory's commitment to green production and zero waste leaving the premises.
The unit features a centralized hazardous waste disposal capacity of 12,000 tons/year and generates 6.9 tons/hour of 2.5MPa(G) saturated steam, integrated into the factory's pipeline network.
Occupying an area of 32 meters by 97 meters, the installation includes comprehensive process units such as waste liquid storage tank areas, solid waste pretreatment and conveyance systems, incineration and waste heat recovery, flue gas rapid cooling, dust removal, desulfurization, and denitrification—ensuring all incinerated flue gas meets emission standards.
This project achieved mechanical completion on September 30, 2020, completed thermal commissioning including furnace drying on November 10, 2020, and officially commenced production operations in early December 2020.
A rotary kiln consists of a long, inclined cylinder that rotates to uniformly heat wastes in a high-temperature environment. During waste treatment, high-temperature combustion effectively decomposes and processes organic materials and other waste components. The rotary kiln design ensures waste remains in the high-temperature environment for sufficient duration, guaranteeing thorough combustion while effectively treating hazardous substances.
Ruiding has independently developed a rotary kiln that combines all traditional rotary kiln incinerator advantages. Significant advancements have been achieved in enhancing heat exchange and ash burnout rates. The incorporation of high-temperature grate technology elevates the traditional second-stage combustion chamber to a more efficient second-stage furnace, improving ash burnout rates and increasing overall incineration efficiency.
This rotary kiln system features a chain-type evaporator that addresses inadequate air-waste contact in traditional designs. This optimization enhances waste heat exchange and combustion effectiveness, prevents slag formation inside the kiln, and significantly boosts both combustion efficiency and equipment lifespan. With high operational uptime, user-friendly maintenance, and suitability for medium to large-capacity processing needs, this solution offers customers an economically viable waste treatment option.
Ruiding provides customized hazardous waste solutions by analyzing critical parameters including elemental composition, calorific value, moisture content, viscosity, ash residue rate, and combustion rate. These tailored solutions are designed to meet specific customer waste characteristics and requirements.
Ruiding has established the Jiangsu Province Clean Incineration Resource Engineering Technology Center and the Key Laboratory of the JICUI-Ruidings Joint Innovation Center.
This laboratory features advanced detection equipment including ICP inductively coupled plasma emission spectrometry, atomic absorption spectrophotometry, atomic fluorescence spectrophotometry, high-temperature combustion ion chromatography analyzers, high-temperature combustion rate analyzers, and rapid equilibrium flash point testers. Capabilities encompass heavy metal analysis, elemental analysis, off-gas calorific value analysis, ash melting point detection, incineration boiler water quality testing, sewage analysis, and volatile waste analysis.
Ruiding specializes in engineering, fabrication, construction, and commissioning services for industrial waste combustion treatment systems including thermal oxidizers (incinerators), heat recovery systems (boilers), pressurized vessels, flue gas treatment systems (DeSOX, DeNOx), and plate heat exchangers.
The company holds Environmental Protection Engineering Class 2 (waste gas, waste liquid, waste solid treatment) EPC certification, ASME Certificate, Class A boiler manufacturing license, Class A boiler installation and Revamping & Maintenance certificate, A2 designing and manufacturing certificate for pressure vessels, and GC1, GC2 pressure pipeline designing & construction certificates.
Ruiding occupies a building area exceeding 250,000 square meters and employs nearly 300 professional technical staff. The company has completed over 500 engineering projects across various domestic and international industries, maintaining significant market share in the petrochemical sector.
