This EPC project treats volatile emissions from chemical manufacturing processes and product loading/transportation operations. The system handles 650 Nm³/h of tank area volatile gas and 350 Nm³/h of loading volatile gas within a 20×10 meter footprint.
Technical Process
The system employs a "cryogenic + CO" off-gas treatment process, featuring three-stage condenser recovery, reheater, catalytic reactor, and electric heater components. This innovative approach replaces traditional cryogenic plus adsorption technology for superior performance.
Operating Principle
VOC-containing gas is preheated before entering the catalytic recuperative oxidizer, where it reaches catalyst working temperature. An exothermic reaction converts pollutants into carbon dioxide and water vapor. Clean hot flue gas then transfers thermal energy to incoming air before atmospheric discharge.
Using catalysts with oxidation temperatures of 250-305°C reduces energy requirements while maintaining effective VOC destruction, resulting in significant operational savings.
