This Catalytic Oxidation system was designed by Jiangsu Ruiding Environmental Engineering Co. as an EPC contract for Qingdao Siyuan Chemical Co., Ltd. It effectively treats volatile emissions from chemical manufacturing processes and product loading/transportation operations.
The system processes 650 Nm³/h of tank area volatile gas and 350 Nm³/h of loading volatile gas. The installation covers 20×10 meters and includes a three-stage condenser recovery unit, reheater, catalytic reactor, and electric heater. The innovative "cryogenic + CO" treatment process ensures compliant emissions while minimizing operational costs.
Operating Principle
Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) are preheated through a heat exchanger before entering the Catalytic Recuperative Oxidizer. The preheated gas reaches catalyst working temperature (250-305°C), where pollutants undergo exothermic conversion to carbon dioxide and water vapor. Clean hot flue gas transfers thermal energy back to incoming air via the heat exchanger before atmospheric discharge.
