Operating Principle
The system preheats VOC-containing gas through a heat exchanger before it enters the Catalytic Recuperative Oxidizer (CO). The preheated gas reaches catalyst working temperature, where pollutants undergo exothermic conversion to carbon dioxide and water vapor. Clean hot flue gas then transfers thermal energy to incoming air through the heat exchanger before atmospheric discharge.
Utilizing catalysts with oxidation temperatures of 250-305°C reduces energy requirements while maintaining optimal oxidation chamber temperatures of approximately 300°C, depending on VOC concentration and calorific value.
